At House of Aurelia, we believe design begins with discernment.

Before palettes are chosen, or furnishings selected, we pause to study the home iteself. Every historic home has a framework -- its architecture determines proportion, light, and storied details. Ceiling height, millwork, window placement, materials: these are its bone structure.

And just as in personal styling, where facial features, undertones, and proportions guide what feels harmonious, a home's architecture informs its core essence.

Some styles flatter. Others compete.

We begin by listening to what the home is already saying. From there, we turn to those who is looking to make the space their own.

Through layered conversation and immersive walk-throughs, we uncover how a family moves through their days -- their rhythms, rutuals, and the atmosphere they long to cultivate.

Only then is an aestetic direction shapred. Aligned with the home's foundation. Supportive of the family's needs. Resonant with their energy.
